When you request a free colour card, you will receive a pack containing our ‘Colours of England’ and ‘Colour Scales’ colour cards. Our colour cards are designed to make choosing colours pleasurable and intuitive for the user.
The ‘Colours of England’ collection featuring 128 shades is presented alongside an expanded range of tonal shades in the ‘Colour Scales’ offering. This card treats each colour as one of 18 graduated colour families, grouped in columns according to undertone.

Colours of England
The ‘Colours of England’ card meets the desire for classic, timeless colours that are both simple to choose and a joy to live with. The collection includes many significant shades from all over the British Isles. Over the last 300 years, these colours have contributed to the internationally renowned style of ‘English Interior Design’.
Colour Scales
The ‘Colour Scales’ colour card offers 18 families of graduated colours, encompassing two sections: ‘Neutral Scales’ and ‘Colourful Scales’. We have designed this palette in a response to the increasing desire for simple-to-scheme colours that create harmonious and monochromatic backdrops to decoration.
Each ‘root’ colour is accompanied by lighter and darker variations, making coordination very simple. Shades within the same column can be used together for tonal coordination, or across columns to create a balanced contrast. The ‘Neutral Scales’ are also presented alongside related whites to assist with designing cohesive schemes.

Choosing Colour
For total colour accuracy, all Little Greene colour cards are made using our Absolute Matt Emulsion paint, straight from the tin. These are not colour matched inks or printed imitations of colour. The shades will react to varying lighting conditions in exactly the same way as your finished walls.
Little Greene colour cards feature unique ‘flying chips’ of colour, allowing for easy coordination with existing wallpapers, fabrics, tiles, painted walls and more. Simply fold the card from beneath the chips to compare shades directly against the other elements of your scheme.
