Introducing our refreshed colour card
Launching this September, our ‘Colours of England’ and ‘Colour Scales’ collections are being refreshed, introducing 26 new colours to the palette.

Designed to make choosing colours pleasurable and intuitive, our updated colour cards reflect the changing way we use colour. Launching this September, our new ‘Colours of England’ and ‘Colour Scales’ collections will feature 26 new colours. The refreshed palette will also include one beloved Little Greene shade that is returning from our archive.
Our ‘Colours of England’ card featuring 128 shades will see the addition of 5 brand new colours. Alongside our cherished, signature colour palette, new shades include a versatile ‘everywhere’ white, a confident playful pink and a characterful muted orange.
Our ‘Colour Scales’ offering will also be updated with 22 new colours, including expanded colour families for much-loved Little Greene shades. In response to changing trends, the distinctive new shades include a family of easy-to-scheme neutrals, a delectable caramelised yellow and a beautiful, warm sage green.
Our Creative Director, Ruth Mottershead, writes: “Our ‘Colours of England’ and ‘Colour Scales’ collections evolve in line with changing approaches to colour in our homes. The popularity of colours changes over time. It’s an evolution rather than a revolution, with a movement towards different colours feeling like a natural transition.
It’s fascinating to look back to see how colour use has changed throughout history. We can then also look forwards to predict and create the favourite colours of the future. We can’t wait to see how our customers will use these beautiful and deeply characterful new colours to create sophisticated, nuanced colour schemes in their homes.”
The new colour card including 26 new colours will be available from Monday 14th September 2026.
